Agyness Deyn was born Laura Hollins on Feburary 16, 1983 in Failsworth, England. Deyn was raised by her mother, Lorraine, and is the second of three children. The model attended Saints RC High School and Bacup Rawenstall Grammar School. She has been looked to as "the fashion industry's next great supermodel" and an "ambassador of youth culture."

In May 2007, Deyn was featured on the cover of Vogue, along with a group that were touted the new supermodels. Deyn has also been featured on the cover UK Vogue, Vogue Italia, and various other publications.

The model appeared in advertising campaigns for Anna Sui, Blugirl by Blumarine, Giorgio Armani and Vivenne Westwood. Deyn tried her hand at music, but was received poorly by the critics. She provided vocals for the single Who by the band Five O'Clock Heroes, but the single was widely panned.

For four years, Deyn dated Josh Hubbard of The Paddingtons, but they are no longer together. She has been currently linked with Albert Hammond Jr. of The Strokes.
