Sam Brody Jenner is the son of Olympic decathlon champion Bruce Jenner and actress/beauty queen Linda Thompson. He has one older brother, Brandon. Growing up in lush L.A. lifestyle, he has acquired multiple step-siblings and half-siblings since his parents divorced. His mom married music producer David Foster and his dad married Kris Houghton.

Jenner acquired fame from starring in reality TV series. He started with "Laguna Beach", where he famously dated co-star Kristin Cavallari in 2005. They called it quits after a year of dating.

After his break-up with Cavallari, he began dating childhood friend Nicole Ritchie. Although both denied the rumors, it was speculated that the relationship was staged for publicity purposes only. They split after 2 months.

In 2006, he appeared in another MTV-produced reality show "The Hills." He became romantically involved with the show's heroine Lauren Conrad, who he dated for less than one month. His involvement with Conrad effectively ended his 10-year friendship with another co-star Spencer Pratt.

In 2007, he starred in his own reality series "The Princes of Malibu," with his brother Brandon. However, the episode was canceled after just two episodes. He is also occasionally featured in "Keeping up with the Kardashians," an E! channel reality show that features his father and his new family.

Jenner is set to host and star another MTV reality show, which is tentatively titled "Bromance."
