Gabrielle Monique Union, star of films such as "Daddy's Little Girls" and "Deliver Us From Eva", was born in Ohama, NB. At the age of 8, her family moved to Pleasanton, California where she stayed through high school, where she was a popular, well-rounded athlete in sports like basketball, soccer and track. Union then attended the University of Nebraska and Cuesta College and then finally UCLA, where she received a degree in Sociology. Union then began an internship at an L.A. modeling agency when, upon its completion, she was asked to become a client for the agency. Soon after, she earned small appearances in popular TV series such as "Sister, Sister", "7th Heaven" and "Smart Guy". Her first film appearances were supporting roles in the 1999 teen comedies "She's All That" and "10 Things I Hate About You". She landed a few more appearances in film and TV before garnering a role that brought her more attention, the role of Isis, the aggressive Compton cheerleader in the 2000 hit comedy "Bring It On". In 2000, she also played the role of Dr. Courtney Ellis in the short-lived medical drama "City of Angels". Union landed her first lead role in a film, "Deliver Us From Eva" opposite LL Cool J, and has since appeared in films such as the blockbuster sequel "Bad Boys II", "The Honeymooners", and "Daddy's Little Girls".
Most recently, she had a three-episode stint on ABC's "Ugly Betty" where played the sister of Wilhemina Slater, played Vanessa Williams. She also appeared in the family comedy "The Perfect Holiday", alongside Morris Chestnut and Queen Latifah. She'll next be seen in "Cadillac Records", the story of the 1950's music era where she'll play Geneva Wade, girlfriend and later wife of music legend Muddy Waters.
