New York, NY, United States (AHN Entertainment) - "Tudors" star Jonathan Rhys Meyers has been hit with a lawsuit for allegedly assaulting and verbally abusing an airline worker in New York last year. United Airlines customer service director Kathryn Williams is suing the Irish actor his "tortuous acts" in May 2010.

"Tudors" star Jonathan Rhys Meyers might have thought he was king when he allegedly displayed "disruptive" behavior at an airport. The 32-year-old Irish actor was reportedly banned from flying United Airlines due to a drunken display earlier this month.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers reportedly challenged police to a fight. The "Tudors" actor was handcuffed by officers at France's Charles DeGaulle airport in Paris after throwing money on the floor, drunkenly boasting about his wealth and shouting at officers.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers is in rehab. The Irish actor is believed to have checked into an English treatment facility to seek help for his alcohol addiction.
