Katrina Amy Alexandria Alexis Infield was brought up in Brighton in East Sussex, England. She took up the name Price after her mother remarried when she was a child.

Price's modeling career started when she sent her pictures to a London modeling agency. The agency invited her for a photo shoot and then she began appearing on tabloid newspaper The Sun's Page 3 section, the paper's feature page that shows models that are generally topless or sometimes nude. She adapted the screen name "Jordan" during this time.

It was also during her time as glamour model on Page 3 that she started undergoing breast implants surgery. Her cup size increased from 32B to 32G, which had led the paper to conduct a poll asking readers if they prefer models with natural or augmented breasts. An overwhelming number voted for natural and The Sun then established in 1998 a policy of banning models who underwent the procedure.

Her popularity to the men population had landed her in six volumes of Playboy's Book of Lingerie special edition from 1997 to 1999.

In June 2001, Price tried her hands in politics. She ran as a candidate in U.K. borough constituency Stretford and Urmston, using the slogan: "For Bigger and Betta Future." She promised free breast implants, increases on nudist beaches, and a ban on parking tickets. She garnered 1.8% of the votes.

She had guest starred in several TV series in the U.K. and appeared in numerous documentaries about herself. She also starred with Australian singer husband Peter Andre in "Katie & Peter" reality series, which was also aired in the U.S. The series established her fame in the country.

Price embarked on the music scene using her real name in 2005 when she competed for the right to represent U.K. at the Eurovision Song Contest. She also released three autobiographies, four ghostwritten novels and a series of children's books. In 2006, she launched her "Katie Price Lingerie Collection" with Panache.

She has a reported estimated fortune of approximately $60 million.

She met Andre while filming the 2004 reality series "I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!" They were married in September 2005.

She has three children. Her first child, Harvey Daniel (born 2002), was with football player Dwight Yorke. Harvey was found to be blind. Her second child, Junior Savva Andreas (born 2005) and third, Princess Tiaamii (born 2007), are Andre's children.

She was treated for cancer, a type of sarcoma on her finger, which was removed in 2006.

The former glamour model underwent another surgery in 2007, this time to reduce the size of her breasts.
