Slash has called off his divorce from wife Perla Ferrer two months after he filed papers in Los Angeles Superior Court. The 45-year-old former Guns N' Roses guitarist filed for the dismissal of his request Monday.

Slash is divorcing his wife of more than eight years. The Velvet Revolver guitarist has filed papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court Monday to end his marriage to Perla Ferrer.

Slash has paid tribute to his "cool rock and roll" mother, who passed away last week. The guitarist credited Ola Hudson - who was previously a costume designer for a host of musicians, including Ringo Starr, John Lennon and Diana Ross, and once dated David Bowie - with keeping him grounded and says she was responsible for all his creative influences growing up.

Slash would rather play guitar for Fergie than Guns N' Roses. The axe legend is much happier collaborating with the Black Eyed Peas vocalist than he would be if he rejoined his old band - fronted by Axl Rose - which he left in 1996.
