Michelle Rodriguez’s Probation Violation May Lead Her To Face Jail

The City Attorney's office alleges that Rodriguez turned in a false document showing that she completed one day of service on Sept. 25, court filings show. However, the actress later stated that she was in New York on that date.

"She hasn't shown proof of completion of her 30 days of community service," said City Attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan. "She could face jail time, but it's up to the judge."

On Friday afternoon, Rodriguez arrived at the court for a hearing in the matter, looking somber and dressed in a white collared shirt, brown leather jacket and brown slacks.

She was accompanied by her lawyer, who successfully asked the judge to postpone Friday's hearing to Oct. 12.

But first, Rodriguez was scolded by Superior Court Judge Daviann L. Mitchell, who ordered the actress to complete two days of road cleanup duty for the California Department of Transportation.

"I'm not impressed with your completion schedule," Judge Mitchell said. "I don't care if you have to camp there, complete (it) without exception."

"We believe this is all due to a clerical error. My client did complete the full 30 days." her attorney, Richard Beada said outside court.

Rodriguez, 29, had been serving an extended probation term for numerous driving infractions.
