TV talk show host Oprah Winfrey flew all the way to Africa to talk to the family of the reportedly abused in girl in Winfrey's school. The host tried to convince the girl to return to the exclusive school for girls.

The child's father reported that they met for two hours at the $40 million Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls, where the incidents of abuse supposed have taken place. The talks were over the dormitory matron who has been accused of indecent assault and criminal injury towards different girls in the school. The matron pleads she is innocent.

The father became delighted when discussions developed and Winfrey invited the child to complete the eighth grade. Furthermore, the TV mogul gave an invitation towards the family for a party this week.

This was the first meeting between the girl and Winfrey since the girl was removed from the school by her family. The school was a realization of a promise Winfrey made six years ago to close friend and former South African president Nelson Mandela.
