Vivica A. Fox Charged With DUI |

Actress Vivica A. Fox has been officially charged misdemeanor DUI from her March arrest. The 43-year-old actress was arrested for Driving Under the Influence on March 20 this year after she passed a marked police car while going 80 mph on freeway. Fox was found to be driving with a blood-alcohol level above 0.08 percent. Spokesman for the L.A. City Attorney's Office says the defense counsel requested that she be allowed to turn herself in for processing. Police report says that Fox used racist language toward the arresting officer and the other patrolman at the scene. "Fox began to walk away, yelling at my partner, 'Brother, help a sister, are you going to let this racist white cop do this... Well, are you?'" The officer was quoted by E!Online. Fox has not commented on this issue. Her next hearing is on December 9. |
