Ali Larter Engaged

Heroes star Ali Larter got engaged to stand up comedian Hayes MacArthur over the weekend. People magazine confirms of the engagement from the 31-year-old actress' rep - "It's true. They're thrilled."

Larter has been ready for a proposal from MacArthur. "I told my boyfriend after three weeks that I wanted to marry him and that we could do it tomorrow," Larter has been quoted saying. "I look forward to that time when I'm home with babies."

The Resident Evil: Extinction actress has not been secretive of her love with MacArthur. In August, she has said that he "brought light to my life. I feel lucky every morning when I wake up and see him."

MacArthur has recently appeared in The Game Plan with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Larter currently stars in the hit TV series Heroes as Niki Sanders, a former internet stripper who possesses superhuman strength and multiple personality disorder.
