Valerie Bertinelli and Eddie Van Halen's Divorce Finalized |

Actress Valerie Bertinelli and rocker Eddie Van Halen are finally free from each other. The ex-couple's divorce has been finalized. They had been married for 25 years. "The parties have resolved all their issues amicably in mediation. Neither spouse shall take unfair advantage of the other spouse," court documents reads on Friday. Dubbed as the ultimate good girl-bad boy couple of the 1980's, have been separated since October 2001. Bertinelli, 47, filed for divorce in December 2005. In an interview with Howard Stern's radio show on September 8, 2006, the 52-year-old guitarist stated that the couple shares custody of their son, Wolfgang, 16. They have met in 1980 when Bertinelli went backstage after the Van Halen's concert in Shreveport. Bertinelli has recently went public about her weight battle. She is a spokeswoman for Jenny Craig program and is writing a book called "Losing It: Gaining My Life Back One Pound at a Time." |
