Ivanka Trump Talks About Being Blonde And Paying Mortgages |

She doesn't want to be called heiress or be compared to Paris Hilton; Ivanka Trump is certainly making her own way and name in her father's world. The magna cum laude daughter of Donald Trump and ex-wife Ivana talks to The New York Times about the real advantages to "being young, blonde, and, if you will, looking a certain way." "I'm 26 and I tell myself, 'Why not have a little fun with that?'" Ivanka insists she is all about work though; "Real estate is my life. It is my day job, if you will. But it consumes my nights and weekends, too. "As a principal of this company," she says of the Trump Organization, "I negotiate all the deals I'm working on. If people think I'm just the boss' daughter, they're deceived," she added. She also says that even with her family's real estate business, she's not living rent-free; she's actually paying the mortgage of her $1.5 million apartment at Trump Park Avenue. |
