American Williams Sisters' Fashion Style Stun Australian Open Crowd

American tennis stars Venus and Serena are not only out to play stunning tennis matches but make fashion statements as well. The Williams sisters are now dominating the tennis fashion scene in the courts.

Australian television commentators also took note of the huge diamond-encrusted earrings as they took their baseline battles in the last few days.

Venus just finished her degree in fashion design last month and is not annoyed by the side comments of her own fashion line. She sports her own fashion line "eleVen" at the tournament.

"I think Serena is the Williams sister that is famous for her derriere ... she's renowned. So I guess I'm getting one up on her," she joked.

Russian Maria Sharapova did not make a fashion delight this year compared to what she wore in 2006 when she graced the courts with her blue baby-doll nightie. She just wore a no-nonsense white tennis sports outfit this year.

World No.1 top seed Justine Henin also styled herself with a white top with lines of figure-enhancing beading on the torso.

France's Aravane Rezai made an appearance in a gold and maroon striped top with floral detail.
