Busta Rhymes is sentenced to three years' probation and 10 days community service by a Manhattan judge. The rapper's sentence stemmed from charges after he assaulted his former driver and a fan.
The hip-hop musician, who pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated and with a suspended licensed, was also charged $1250, plus other court fees.
The 35-year-old rapper, whose real name is Trevor Smith, must enroll in a program, which aims to prevent drunk driving, as part of his sentence.
"I just want to say that I'm very grateful to the judge, and I'm very grateful to the system," Smith says as he left the court. "I believe in the system."
