Heidi Montag: Thank You For Your Negative Comments

February 7, 2008 05:40 am CST

After it became an instant Internet hit for all the wrong reasons, Heidi Montag thanks the comments her music video has received.

The reality TV actress has posted a video message in celebrity blogger Perez Hilton's site, thanking everybody for the comments, however negative, she has received.

When her music video "Higher" premiered this week, the negative comments were over pouring regarding Montag's apparent "lack of talent." Her boyfriend and former fiancé, Spencer Pratt, who directed the video, wasn't spared from the attacks. Almost all the comments were spiteful calling the video the "worst" they have seen. Montag was seen in the video wearing a two-piece swimsuit while prancing in the beach.

Filmed by Perez, Montag and Spencer issued the comments saying thank you to those who bothered.

"I appreciate people taking time to write any kind of comment. Do you know how much effort it really takes to sit down and write a comment? I've never written a comment in my entire life," Montag says. "You really have to have a lot of passion and thought to write any comment, so thank you."

Pratt, meanwhile, explained why people did not like the video saying it was never seen before. "She's so beautiful and she's an unbelievable singer. The quality of music and the music video has never been seen before."
