"Lost's" Juliet Lives On Island

Elizabeth Mitchell may play a mystery woman on the hit island show "Lost," but in real life she plays a normal wife and mom on her own island.

Mitchell, who is waiting out the writers' strike at home, lives with her husband and son on a small island in Puget Sound, near Seattle. According to People Magazine, Mitchell says her role on "Lost" as Juliet is her favorite so far.

Mitchell's character, a doctor who is lured to the island by the "Others" to study why the island women are not able to give birth, ends up leaving the "Others" and joining the castaways. While Juliet has embarked on a love story with super doc Jack, it remains to be seen if she is a good or bad guy.

Mitchell has found success on the big screen also, starring as Tim Allen's wife Mrs. Claus, in "The Santa Claus 2" and "The Santa Claus 3: The Escape Claus."
