Lenny Kravitz Rushed To Hospital For Bronchitis

Lenny Kravitz has been hospitalized with severe bronchitis. The 'American Woman' singer - who has reportedly been suffering from arespiratory tract infection since mid-January - was taken to the emergencyroom at Miami's Mount Sinai Hospital Sunday.

A spokesperson for the 43-year-old star said, "Due to extreme dehydrationand fatigue doctors were unable to control his condition with outpatienttreatment and advised him to check into hospital.

"Lenny was taken to an emergency room at Mount Sinai Hospital for immediate treatment."

Kravitz's condition has forced him to postpone a trip to Europe, where hewas due to promote his new album 'It Is Time For a Love Revolution',released last week.

Earlier this month, it was revealed Kravitz almost quit the music businessto become a farmer in Brazil.

He said, "I spent four months on a farm in Brazil. I was surrounded bynature and it was beautiful. I lived completely within the means of thatfarm.

"I thought, 'You know what, I could stay here and be a farmer. I could growfruit and vegetables.'
