Ryan Phillippe claims he has become a prisoner in his own home. The 'Cruel Intentions' actor - who endured a high-profile split from ex-wifeReese Witherspoon in 2006 - is considering quitting Los Angeles because heis constantly harassed by paparazzi.

He said, "I spend a lot of time just holed up in my house in Los Angeles.I'm thinking of leaving here because of that. I don't really go out becauseI know it's going to turn into a photo shoot."

Ryan - who has two children, Ava, eight, and four-year-old Deacon, withReese - is also worried the attention is starting to affect his kids.

He said, "It's really scarring. It definitely does a number on myeight-year-old daughter. To hear her say that she worries about what she'swearing when she leaves the house because she knows her picture will betaken. She's worried about friends at school who come up to her and say they see her in magazines. It's a really disturbing environment to bring up achild in."

Ryan also denied he is dating Abbie Cornish, the actress who was blamed forthe breakdown of his marriage following rumours Ryan had been romancing her.

He added to W magazine, "Abbie and I are close friends, and as far as ifthere is any future, that is not where we are at now.

"It was unfair for her to be called the names that she was, because itwasn't about that. I don't think an outside person can ever cause a divorce.I had difficulties in my relationship, and in my marriage, long before Iever met her."
