Brittany Murphy's Diva-Like Behavior On Set

Brittany Murphy has reportedly been acting like a diva on the set of her new movie.

The 30-year-old actress is said to be infuriating cast and crew on the Los Angeles set of thriller 'Across the Halls' with her temperamental behavior.

A film source told gossip website pagesix.com said: "She's extremely difficult. When she gets to the set, it comes to a grinding halt. She's so hot and cold, you never know what's going to happen that day."

Brittany - who shot to fame in hit 1995 romantic comedy 'Clueless' - is also demanding bizarre food combinations during filming.

The insider added: "She insists on having these peanut butter and jelly sandwiches which have to be diagonally cut with the crusts removed. She needs one every hour. It's painstaking - her assistant takes about half an hour making each one."

Movie executives have also had to schedule a meeting to discuss how to deal with Brittany's husband, British screenwriter, Simon Monjack, who is reportedly ever-present on set.

A representative for Brittany could not be reached for comment.
