Jessica Alba writes about her condition. The pregnant star talks about being "preggers" on her MySpace blog and why she chose In-N-Out burgers over the lavish Governor's Ball.

"Instead of hitting up the Governor's Ball or any other party, we opted for sweats and In-N-Out Burgers. Being preggers kind of takes the fun out of partying until the wee hours."

And besides, the 26-year-old writes, "Sleep always sounds so much better these days."

Alba, who looked smashing in her deep purple strapless gown in Sunday's Oscar Awards, was grateful she didn't mess up on stage.

"Another highlight was the fact that I didn't mess up my lines or trip on my dress," she says. "I did have a stumble backstage... Cash (Warren, her fiancé) caught [me]. Luckily all the photogs were taking pics of Cameron [Diaz] looking gorgeous in pink."

All in all, it was a "pretty great night," says the actress.

Alba is currently on her third semester; she's expecting her first child in early spring or summer.
