The glamour model, real name Katie Price, is in the final stages of purchasing a Hawker 900 plane which she plans to paint pink with matching upholstery.

Jordan and her husband Peter Andre, who also have a home in Cyprus, decided to splash out on the jet after looking at the sky-high figures for their family travel plans this year.

The bill for the couple, their three children - Jordan's five-year-old son Harvey from a previous relationship and the pair's two-year-old son Junior and eight-month-old daughter Princess Tiaami - plus the kids' nannies came to a staggering $300,000 for the 12-month period.

A source said: "She has three round trips planned to Australia, The cost of taking the family abroad this year looked ridiculous."

Jordan, 29, is also hoping to learn how to pilot the plane herself.

The source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "When she gets the jet she intends to take flying lessons."

The couple - who married in 2005 after meeting on the reality TV show 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' - are planning to cover the costs by hiring out the plane when they are not using it.
