Jamie Lynn Spears' Baby Is A Boy

March 4, 2008 06:30 am CST

Jamie Lynn Spears is expecting a boy, it has been claimed.

The 16-year-old actress, who is around six months pregnant with her first child, bought blue baby items when she visited Los Angeles' exclusive baby boutique Petit Tresor with her sister Britney last month.

A source told website MSNBC: "Britney originally said the items were for her two sons Jayden James and Sean Preston, but it appeared to be a cover for Jamie Lynn. None of the items could have been for the two kids Britney already has - they were for a small baby."

"Britney and Jamie Lynn were only in the store for around 20 minutes but they bought several items that were light blue in color."

Jamie Lynn is believed to have bought blue pajamas, organic baby blankets and towels.

It was recently revealed Jamie Lynn was hoping to go to college and continue her education after the baby is born.

A source close to Jamie said: "She's already got her diploma. She wants to take her college entrance test. She's not wasting any time. Everybody is so supportive of her, and will back her in whatever she chooses to do."
