50 Cent won the right to regularly see his son in a court ruling Monday. The "Candy Shop" rapper - who was denied visitation rights to his son Marquise when he was accused of setting fire to the mansion Marquise was living in with his mother, 50's former girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins - will now be able to see the 11-year-old every other weekend until a custody trial on October 22. 50, real name Curtis Jackson, denied the arson claims and filed a defamation suit against Shaniqua. Following the reconciliation with his son, 50 revealed he would be celebrating the ruling. Speaking outside the courtroom in Long Island, New York, the hip-hop star signed autographs for eagerly waiting fans and told them: "I'm going to hang out with some women. Make some music, make some movies, and continue to kick it." The new ruling means Shaniqua will drop Marquise off at a police precinct in Queens, New York, every other Friday night. Marquise will then be collected by 50's mother Sabrina or his driver. |
