"Dawson's Creek" main star James Van Der Beek has settled an alimony payment with his soon-to-be ex-wife. The 33-year-old actor will officially be a single man again on June 3 when his divorce with actress Heather Ann McComb finalizes. TMZ obtained the documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court that states that Van Der Beek, known to the fans as the titular character in the former WB teen drama, has to pay McComb $7,750 a month in spousal support. But while that seems hefty, he still appears to have the upper hand in the deal. He gets the Hollywood house and everything he wrote in films, stories, scripts, screenplays, etc. during the course of their marriage. He apparently earns around $50,000 a month. Van Der Beek and McComb married in July 2003 and separated in July last year. He filed for divorce in November. |
