"Funny People" Star Jason Schwartzman Gets Hitched

August 20, 2009

Jason Schwartzman has married his girlfriend Brady Cunningham. The "Funny People" star exchanged vows with the eco-friendly fashion designer in a low-key ceremony at their San Fernando Valley home last month.

The 29-year-old actor's representative said: "It was a very small ceremony with many family members and close friends."

Jason - who is the nephew of legendary director Francis Ford Coppola - had been dating Brady for three years before he proposed earlier this year.

Schwartzman is known for his roles in "The Darjeeling Limited," "Rushmore," "Shopgirl" and "I Heart Huckabees."

Before he started acting, Schwartzman was a drummer and songwriter for the band Phantom Planet, and still composes music for films, including the musical score for "Funny People."

He also contributed to Ben Lee's 2005 album "Awake Is the New Asleep."
