'Gossip Girl' star Chace Crawford gets deal in marijuana case

Plano, TX, United States (AHN Entertainment) - "Gossip Girl" star Chace Crawford has cut a deal in his marijuana case in Texas. The 25-year-old actor's record will be wiped clean if he behaves for one year and performs community service.

Crawford was arrested last June at a pub parking lot in Plano after cops found less than two ounces of marijuana in his possession while inside a car.

If he meets certain requirements for one year, his misdemeanor case will be dismissed and his record will not reflect the charge.

TMZ reports that the conditions include avoiding getting arrested or being engaged in any criminal conduct for a year, performing 24 hours of community service, and reporting to a probation officer once a month.

Crawford is expected to perform his community service in the middle of summer.
