"Grey's Anatomy" T.R. Knight Says He Was "Surprised" Boyfriend Was Interested

Grey's Anatomy's "George," T.R. Knight is getting cozy with boyfriend Mark Cornelson.

The couple has been dating since February.

"I was surprised he was interested!" said Knight, 35, of Cornelson, 19, in an interview with Extra.

Knight added that Cornelson is an "amazing guy" and that he "loves being around him."

"I love what we have," said Knight.

Despite the legalization of same-sex marriage in California, Knight says the couple doesn't have plans for marriage.

"We've only known each other for six months, so I think it's a little soon to consider marriage." But he added, "I don't think you date anyone that you don't see a future with."

The actor also said he was interested in the "idea" of adopting children.

Of the couple's age difference, Knight said, "It's bound to raise some eyebrows, but we love each other."
