"Jersey Shore" stars' earnings reach millions

February 25, 2011 Vinny Guadagnino, Angelina Pivarnick, Michael Sorrentino, Ronnie Ortiz-magro

Hate them if you must but the self-professed guidos and guidettes of "Jersey Shore" are raking in big dough for every time you mention their names. In an infographic study made by Online Schools, it is learned that The Situation, Snookie, and the rest of the gang have earned millions just by pouting their lips and pumping their fists.

Abs-baring The Situation, real name Michael Sorrentino, is the richest of them all. He was the assistant manager of a gym in Staten Island before he joined the MTV reality series, probably just earning around $35,000 then.

But now, his earnings are estimated to fall $5 million after signing a deal with a vodka company called Devotion, making $135,000 for appearing on "Dancing with the Stars," releasing a book that allegedly earned him a six-figure deal, releasing a line of "pre-workout" vitamins and his own clothing, jewelry, and fragrance line. He is also earning $7,500 by appearing in events.

Surprisingly, it's not Snookie who places second in wealth as she only made $750,000 so far. Paul "Pauly D" DelVecchio, who was a DJ working in clubs in Rhode Island before the reality show stint, now earns $2 million, mostly from his DJ work and his upcoming spin-off show.

Their castmates, Jenni "JWoww" Farley, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola, Vinny Guadagnino, and Angelina Pivarnick are also raking in money from personal appearances. They also average $30,000 each per episode for the show's third season.
