"Terminator 2" child actor Edward Furlong jailed after violating restraining order by estranged wife

Former "Terminator 2" child actor Edward Furlong has been jailed for violating a restraining order obtained by his estranged wife.

The 33-year-old actor apparently breached the order last month by coming within 50 yards of Rachel Kneeland.

Kneeland has a three-year restraining order against Furlong, who is also the father of her 4-year-old son Ethan.

She claims in her court documents that on September 23, he "grabbed me, bruised me, pushed me… left messages saying he would hire people to come and beat me with chains and bats."

She further claims that Furlong smokes cocaine and other drugs.

Kneeland was granted the restraining order, which requires her soon-to-be ex-husband to stay 100 yards away from her at all times

Furlong, who currently has a small but significant role on the new "The Green Hornet," violated the restraining order. The Los Angeles City Attorney filed criminal charges, to which Furlong pled no contest in November. He was placed on probation.

On Tuesday, he was in court for his progress hearing. It was heard that Furlong violated the restraining order again last month by coming within 50 yards of Kneeland, according to TMZ.

The judge ruled he violated the probation; therefore, Furlong was taken into custody.

He was released after posting $75,000 bail.
