ABC not pressing charges against Chris Brown over violent and destructive outburst

March 23, 2011 Charlie Sheen, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Abc

Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN Entertainment) - Good news for Chris Brown: even though he acted like a child having tantrums on ABC's "Good Morning America," the incident won't reflect on his probation report. The alphabet network apparently decided not to press charges against the recalcitrant R&B singer.

Brown, who is on probation for assaulting Rihanna in 2009, exploded behind the scenes at the morning show after allegedly being upset by on-air questions about the Rihanna incident. He freaked out and stormed into his dressing room. He apparently smashed a window in the room with a chair and confronted a segment producer.

He tweeted: "I'm so over people bringing this past s*** up!!! Yet we praise Charlie sheen and other celebs for their bulls***."

He has since deleted the post, adding instead: "All my fans!!! This album is for you and only you!!! I'm so tired of everyone else!! Honestly!! I love team breezy!!"

His violent outburst could spell trouble for him as he is still on probation over the infamous 2009 incident. But fortunately for him, the network has decided not to press charges, according to TMZ sources.

This means that NYPD will not investigate the matter anymore because there is no complaining victim. And if New York refuses to prosecute him, the judge on Brown's case won't declare him in violation of his probation.
