Adam Lambert is set to make an ABC comeback this week as he joins the ladies of "The View" on Thursday. The "American Idol" alum will appear in a pre-taped telecast of the show after the network canceled his three appearances in different shows.
The alphabet network canceled the 27-year-old singer's "Good Morning America" appearance after his sexed-up gig on the American Music Awards last month, where he was seen kissing a male keyboardist on stage.
His scheduled appearances on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and on their New Year's Eve special were also canceled, with the channel explaining that they called off his guest spots because he proved to be unpredictable on live TV.
His "The View" guest appearance will air the morning after Barbara Walter's primetime special, "Most Fascinating People of 2009," where he is one of the ten people named in the annual list.
