Alec Baldwin to host Up Late With Alec Baldwin talk show on MSNBC

Alec Baldwin is to host a weekly nighttime talk show on MSNBC, reports Hollywood Reporter. The program will be named as "Up Late With Alec Baldwin" and it will start televising from October on Fridays at 10 p.m. Baldwin will handle talks on current events and culture in it.

The show will replace prison reality show "Lock Up."

Acting career of Baldwin includes roles in movies and stage apart from television and comedy performances. Recently he also conducted interviews on a podcast for WNYC public radio station. The podcast was named "Here's the Thing."
