Dropping jaws along the way, a statuesque Alessandra Ambrosio hit the catwalk during the 2011 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in New York City on Wednesday night (November 9).

The barely clad beauty looked angelic as she made her way down the runway, despite the daunting task of wearing a 30-pound pair of gold wings encrusted with more than 100,000 sparkling Swarovski crystals.

Having a little trouble during her initial fitting of the elaborate accessory, she told ABC News, "I almost fell back, that's how heavy it was. You really have to put a lot of strength toward your shoulders to be able to hold that. But it's incredible. You can't say no to an outfit like that. Those wings are unbelievable."

Working hard to make her televised stroll go as smooth as possible, Ambrosio begin lifting weights and targeting her arms and back weeks ago, all in hopes to gain strength to carry what have been called the "most spectacular" wings to ever grace the show.
