Angelina Jolie And Father Jon Voight Hope To Mend Relationship

Actress Angelina Jolie has been estranged from her father Jon Voight for a long time, but recently the two have started to mend their relationship. In fact, the actress said in a recent interview that they were starting to repair their longstanding rift.

Voight, 69, told People.com, that he thinks his daughter looks very happy right now. He added that after looking at photos of her from the Cannes Film Festival, "She looks like she's having a couple of babies."

Jolie, who is already the mother of four, is expecting twins with partner Brad Pitt.

During an interview with The Sydney Morning Herald, Jolie said about Voight, "We are going to try to get to know each other and maybe try not to be this daddy and daughter, but to be there for each other as friends in the coming years."
