Angus T. Jones apologizes for his rant against Two and a Half Men

November 28, 2012 Angus T. Jones, Chuck Lorre

Angus T. Jones rose to fame as a little chubby boy in Two and a Half Men. Outside the sitcom, I don’t see producers lining up to book him for gigs and this might have prompted him to make some kind of apology to the executives of the sitcom for his comment.

Yesterday, he called the sitcom that pays him \$350,000 an episode filthy. He even asked fans to boycott the show.

Today, he issued a statement in which he had nothing but good comments for the executives. He said

“I have been the subject of much discussion, speculation over the past 24 hours.

“ I am grateful to and have the highest regard and respect for all the wonderful people on Two and a Half Men, with whom I have worked with over the past ten years.

Chuck Lorre, Peter Roth and many others at Warner Bros. and CBS are responsible for what has been one of the most significant experiences in my life to date. I thank them for the opportunity they have given me and the help and guidance I have and expect to continue to receive from them.

“I apologize if my remarks reflect me showing indifference to and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation to the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed. I never intended that”.
