Are "Dancing With the Stars" Dancers Shannon Elizabeth And Derek Hough More Than Friends?

The show "Dancing With the Stars" has been known to start a relationship or two. Now speculation is running high on dance partners Shannon Elizabeth and professional dancer Derek Hough, especially after the two shared what looked like a kiss on the beach last week.

Host Samantha Harris asked the couple if they were in fact a couple after their dance this week. While waiting for the dance scores Hough joked around, but wouldn't give Harris a straight answer.

Elizabeth is divorced and 12 years older than Hough, but that doesn't seem to put a damper on the chemistry the two have on the dance floor together. Professional dancer Karina Smirnoff joked with People.com and said, "They might have been auditioning for a new romantic comedy, like Friends with Benefits. They're both hot, young single people, so why not?"

Professional dancer Mark Ballas, who is also Hough's roommate and band mate, added, "He's single. She's single. Whatever. I think what's great about their relationship is they're really good friends and they get along really well. They have great chemistry."
