Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz married last year, but now they're coming out in support of their gay friends and fans who can't do the same. The couple shot a campaign in support of gay marriage for "NOH8." In the shot, the two are featured posing together with "NOH8" written on their cheeks and duct tape over their mouths, while Simpson-Wentz held a wedding veil.
The shots were taken by photographer Adam Bouska on Monday. Bouska launched NOH8 with his partner, Jeff Parshley, after Proposition 8 passed in California in November.
Also involved in the shoot was Blink 182's Mark Hoppus, who will also have his own shots. Hoppus, along with the Wentz's, was involved in human rights protests following the decision on Prop 8.
"My son asked me one time, 'Some guys have girlfriends and some girls have boyfriends, but do boys sometimes have boyfriends?' " Hoppus told E! at the rally. "I said, 'Yeah, all kinds of people love different kinds of people. And that's the world we live in.' "
