Ashley Tisdale Target Of Online Rumor |

"High School Musical" star Ashley Tisdale was the target of a grade-school prank this week. Several online sites started a rumor that the actress has been diagnosed as HIV-positive. According to TVGuide.com, Tisdale's rep, Scott Appel, says, "The story is completely untrue." The online rumor claimed that Tisdale contracted HIV through her recent rhinoplasty procedure. The false tales were even backed up by bogus statements form Cedars-Sinai saying, "Ashley and her family are trying to come to terms with this horrible development. They only ask that you pray for Ashley's health and to please respect their privacy." A spokesperson for Cedars-Sinai says the medical center never issued any such statement. |
