Beyonce lands a deal worth \$50million with Pepsi

The year 2013 is already looking rosy for yours truly Beyonce Knowles. Pepsi managed to land a deal with the singer that is estimated to be worth \$50 million or more. She is set to appear on the company’s advertisement and new commercial in addition to investment in her independent artistic ventures.

Beyonce’s new TV advert for the soda company is set to debut on February 3, after her Super Bowl XLVII halftime performance. PepsiCo is also a sponsor of the big sport event.

The singers face will also will grace the products including soda cans that will start going into the market in March. The new deal also includes a sponsorship of her to her new album next year as well as other projects like live events, videos or a cool photoshoot.

In a statement released on New York Times, Beyonce said “Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve. As a business woman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity”.

Beyonce has been in a partnership with Pepsi since 2001.
