Billy Ray Cyrus Takes Daughter Miley To Get Her Nose Pierced

Billy Ray Cyrus took 16-year-old daughter Miley to get her nose pierced. The "Achy Breaky Heart" singer was unsure about the "Hannah Montana" actress having the piercing, but wanted to be with her when it happened.

He revealed: "She said, 'Daddy would you take me to get my nose pierced?' I said, 'Did you ask your mamma?' and she said, 'Mamma said I can do it if you would take me.'"

"We went to a little place in studio city. I felt kind of nervous."

Billy - who stars alongside Miley in "Hannah Montana" - also admits he found it hard when his daughter began to date but accepts he has to let her get on with her life.

He added to U.S. TV talk show host Larry King: "You probably heard the song I wrote, 'Ready, Set, Don't Go.'"

"It's about that moment in a daddy's life that you realize your little girl has grown up. It's time for her to make her own decisions."

Last week, it was reported Miley had split from her boyfriend, underwear model Justin Gaston.

She is now believed to be dating British rocker Steve Rushton.
