Bristol Palin Slams Kathy Griffin For Weight Jokes

Former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin's daughter Bristol is none too happy about the jokes Kathy Griffin took at her expense. Griffin poked fun at Bristol's weight during her stand-up routine at Sunday's Diva's Salute the Troops event and now Bristol is fighting back.

The "My Life On The D-List" star took aim at Bristol's appearance during her stint on "Dancing With The Stars," saying, She's the only contestant in the history of the show to actually gain weight."

Despite being jeered on stage by the troops in the audience, Griffin continued taking jabs at Bristol's weight by saying: "No, come on, come on. She gained like 30 pounds a week, I swear to God, it was fantastic."

The fiery red-head also joked that Bristol looked like the white "Precious," referring to the 2009 film starring Gabourey Sidibe.

Bristol has since shot back by writing a series of statements on her Facebook page, saying, "The audience's reaction to this 'comedian' spoke volumes, and the decent people I know would probably have booed her, too."

She added: "I hope people didn't have to pay money to hear her negativity and criticisms."

Meanwhile, producers for "Dancing With The Stars" are said to be so pleased with the publicity the show has received since having Bristol on it, that they are considering signing on her father Todd Palin for the show's next cycle.
