Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN Entertainment) - Britney Spears stepped out onto the red carpet for a rare appearance Wednesday night for a good cause. The "Femme Fatale" herself hosted "An Evening of Southern Style" in support of the St. Bernard Project, which works to rebuild homes for survivors of Hurricane Katrina.

Taking place at a Beverly Hills mansion, Spears wore a lime-green Herve Leger by Max Azria jacquard dress as she arrived with boyfriend Jason Trawick. Inside, Spears served up her own sweet tea recipe in peach and lemon flavors.

Celebrity attendees, which included Kim Kardashian, Kelly Osbourne, Kellan Lutz, and Hilary Duff, mingled and sampled the Louisiana cuisine served up by Britney's own dad Jamie.

"The St. Bernard Project is an incredible organization whose main focus is rebuilding Louisiana," Spears said. "I am so honored to be part of this cause. Louisiana will always be a part of my soul."

The St. Bernard Project has already rebuilt homes for more than 350 families. Fans can text BRITNEY to UNITED(864833) to donate $10 to the St. Bernard Project and support Britney's cause.
