Brittany Murphy's Father Rejected From Her Gravesite

Brittany Murphy's father was turned away from his daughter's grave. Angelo Bertolotti claims Forest Lawn Memorial Park denied to direct him to the actress' gravesite even after he offered to provide proof of his relationship to Murphy.

Bertolotti, who was not present during Murphy's funeral in December, told TMZ that when he arrived at the cemetery on Monday, he asked several employees for directions to where his daughter is buried.

But instead of answering him, he was directed to the main office, where officials refused to give him any information. He offered to provide proof that he was really Murphy's father, but he was still apparently denied.

He said he was fuming mad after his rejection.

A Forest Lawn rep told the website that they are now checking into what happened.

Bertolloti also said he is going to the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office to get his name printed as "father" on Murphy's death certificate, which has been left blank.
