Brooke Mueller to let restraining order against Charlie Sheen expire

March 22, 2011 Charlie Sheen, Brooke Mueller

Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN Entertainment) - Brooke Mueller won't be asking for an extension on the restraining order she filed against soon-to-be ex-husband Charlie Sheen.

The temporary restraining order is set to expire Tuesday, but Mueller won't be petitioning to make it permanent.

Mueller acquired the protective order on March 1, claiming the ex-"Two and a Half Men" star had threatened her life.

She has the chance to ask a judge to make it permanent, which will force Sheen to stay away from her for three years, but it is learned that the case has been taken off the court's schedule, as per the request of her lawyers.

Los Angeles Superior Court spokeswoman Elizabeth Martinez confirmed to People magazine that "an attorney in the case asked that it be taken off the calendar."

Mueller is presumed to be settling her differences with Sheen, including their custody agreement for their 2-year-old twins Bob and Max.
