Cash for Violence: "Teen Mom 2" star Jenelle Evans got paid for fight video

Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN Entertainment) - Teen mom Jenelle Evans was in on a plot to get cash for her videotaped fight. According to one of her friends present in the fight, the MTV reality star fought with Britany Truett because she thought it was a "good idea" to sell the video afterwards.

Brittany Maggard, the girl who shoved the "Teen Mom 2" star before the said fight, told TMZ that Evans only had the guts to start a brawl with Truett because Maggard, Maggard's sister, and their friend Nick had her back.

She also claims that she and Nick, who had the video camera, came up with the idea to sell the video, which Evans thought was a "good idea." Evans then calle d"someone she knows at a [photo] agency to purchase the video."

They apparently sold the video for $5,000, but Evans wanted a bigger cut because she claims "You wouldn't get any money if I wasn't famous!"

Evan's lawyer told TMZ, "I am very happy with [Evan's] position. We are investigating the case and we will be ready for court on April 26."

Evans has been charged with misdemeanor assault and affray, Maggard was charged with simple assault, and Truett, the alleged victim, was also charged with simple affray.

The teen mom is due in court on April 26 for the case. She is also expected to appear in court on April 14 to answer to unrelated drug and breaking and entering charges, and on April 29 for another charge.
