Celebrities Speak Out On Perez Vs. The Peas

June 24, 2009

Perez Hilton's website has earned millions of hits, but one hit early Monday was heard around the world. Now, the self-proclaimed Queen of all Media and the everyone-else-proclaimed Queen of Mean has the celebrities he usually takes digs at speaking out on the situation.

"I don't not like him, I just don't think he's very nice," Kelly Clarkson said in an interview with Much On Demand. Hilton has written plenty of low blows towards Clarkson, especially about her fluctuating weight. "All I have to say is, when you dish that much out, you have to be able to take something."

"I'm not saying that violence is fair," she continues. "I wouldn't hit someone."

John Mayer took to his Twitter to offer Perez some advice. "Words have cause and effect, even if the effect is wrong," he said.

Tensions started rising when Hilton had some words with Black Eyed Peas member Fergie, who he had been writing scathing postings about. After some heated words with Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.I.Am, including the openly gay blogger calling him the GLAAD-angering F-word, B.E.P. tour manager Polo Molina punched Hilton in the face.

"When you get rich saying hateful things sometimes you ask for it," Fergie's husband Josh Duhamel told "Entertainment Tonight."t's an unfortunate incident and I hope it goes away."

Polo Molina is due in a Toronto court on assault charges in August.
