Charlie Sheen's newborn son is still in the hospital for being underweight. Max, who along with twin Bob was born on March 14, has yet to leave the L.A. medical facility after more than two weeks of coming into the world. Sheen's rep confirmed reports that Max is still in the L.A. hospital, but denied reports that he is suffering from a heart condition. Rep Stan Rosenfield said in a statement, "Charlie and Brooke's infant son Max remains in the hospital, not because of a heart condition as reported, but because he has not gained the weight necessary to leave hospital. Max is expected to reach the weight requirement shortly and will join his brother at home." Sheen also quipped that Max is suffering from aversion to hospital food, saying, "The weight issue is very common among infants who were born before reaching full term. I know a lot of people are not fond of hospital food; I just didn't realize that they started so young." Max and Bob are Sheen and wife Brooke Mueller's first sons. The "Two and a Half Men" star also has other kids from previous relationships, 24-year-old Cassandra (from ex-girlfriend Paula Profit), and 5-year-old Sam and 3-year-old Lola (from ex-wife Denise Richards). |
