Chelsy Davy's Old Home Transformed Into A Hotel

Chelsy Davy's old home has been transformed into a hotel and is being marketed as the "Royal Love Nest Guest House."

The $480,000 Cape Town property was bought for the ex-girlfriend of Britain's Prince Harry by her parents when she was studying at a nearby university, and Harry regularly enjoyed cozy nights with her there.

The four-bedroom house was put up for sale when Chelsy finished her studies and move to Britain, and was quickly bought by British-based Pumla and Madoda Hoshe.

Mr. Hoshe told Britain's The Daily Mail newspaper: "I was delighted to hear the house was for sale. It is a dream to make it into a guesthouse because Harry and Chelsy spent lots of special time there together, including Chelsy's 21st birthday."

"I suppose they did whatever young couples get up to behind closed doors. The guests find the history of the house very exciting."

At first the couple used the detached house as a holiday home, but they eventually decided to capitalize on its royal history and now charge people between $100 and $200 a night, including breakfast, to stay there.

Mrs. Hosche insists the family have only had positive feedback from guests, explaining: "They all say the place is lovely and we have even managed to impress our first honeymoon couple."

"It is a very safe and upmarket area and I can say it is the only guest house in the area which is owned by a black woman."

"For tourists it's an adventure to stay there - it's a modern setup and we're offering true South African hospitality with foods like my mother's tasty corn bread."

Harry dated Chelsy for around five years before they split in January. He regularly stayed in Chelsy's white bedroom at the house, with his bodyguard sleeping in a room next-door.
