Coldplay Thinks They Have Improved With Their Live Performances

Coldplay are "less s**t" than they used to be. The band's frontman Chris Martin insists they are at their peak and their live performances are better than ever.

Speaking after a show in Munich, Germany, last week, Chris told Absolute Radio: "I think our concert is the least s**t Coldplay concert at the moment that you could have possibly ever seen. Do you see what I mean? We're better than we used to be."

The "Viva La Vida" singer - who is married to actress Gwyneth Paltrow - revealed how the band rate their success.

He joked: "You get a lot of offers, you know, the more phone numbers that get thrown on stage, the more the gig is going good. Or fax, or fax - the Germans love a fax!"

Chris also heaped praise on much-criticized Canadian rockers Nickleback.

He added: "I have nothing but respect for Nickelback. They take a lot of flak from people who have done f**k all in their life and I think they're great."
