Conan O'Brien Reportedly Planning Stage Shows

February 19, 2010 September

Conan O'Brien is said to have found a way to keep him in front of the audience. The erstwhile "Tonight Show" host is reportedly putting on a series of live theatrical shows.

Because his $33 million NBC payoff deal forbids him to appear on TV until September, the now-jobless funnyman found other ways to do shows. He is said to be putting on a series of theatrical shows to keep him in front of viewers.

A source told NY Post's Page Six, "There's nothing to stop him doing his show in front of an audience at venues like Radio City. It will build more buzz for him as he negotiates his next television contract. It will also keep Conan happy because he doesn't want to be out of the public consciousness for too long."

Though rumors are rampant O'Brien will be moving to Fox, the source said that there is still no official negotiation between the two.

O'Brien is recently sporting beard while vacationing in Hawaii with his family.
